Games Taking your Life

I love games. In fact I believe that all of us love games. Nowadays most of the parents despise video games because of the usual reasons.

1. You don’t know how to be responsible
2. You don’t study your lessons
3. You don’t help out with the chores

These 3 are just some of the usual reasons that are parents always say. I myself love video games and I always play them . I strongly believe that games have beneficial effects on us like games can help us to think critically at times but I believe we should play responsibly too because games not only limited to video games can eat our life away and we tend to forget about our responsibilities and we almost always focus just on gaming and not thinking about things that could even help us improve even more. Games that would force us to play them over and over again are games we should avoid in my own honest opinion because I believe games shouldn’t force us to play them instead these games should be places where we can just relax and take away all the stress. If you are playing games that are making you stressed because you need to check on them every now them I suggest you should quit them right now because it is not a good idea that you will take away time on your life . We should invest our lives because God has given us time that we should spend wisely and not just waste them or spend them.

Living Through Rejections

I am a full time college student taking up information technology for three years now. I’m doing part time jobs online on odesk.com to help me get extra money . Odesk is simply a dream come to every person who wants to earn money online . Odesk is very optimized as it really indicates all the necessary information . Maybe i will discuss it on another post . Ok in odesk you can apply jobs and employers interview you and if they like you , you get the job. As easy as that may sound it really isn’t , in my experience i always maximize the quota of jobs i can apply to and everyday i check my email to check if there any interviews available , this past week i got a lot of interviews from my applications but sad to say most of them doesn’t i’m fit for the job and this could really be depressing as an individual because of the constant excitements of thinking i would get the job but you really need because just maybe you really need to check your profile and polish it more , add portfolio, polish your cover letter , improve your skills.

Life’s Choices made better through faith

Today I went to our regular saturday fellowship at our church and our topic was all about faith, so to sum it all up the speaker talk about every aspect of faith starting from what faith is up to what can faith do to us if we have faith on Jesus Christ, and I as one of the leaders was very much inspired to reiterate the topic in a different manner .

Around the world one of  the most known persons is Michael Jordan the legend from the Chicago Bulls who brought a lot rings to the franchise, even people who are not a fan of basketball know the greatness of Michael Jordan in the world of basketball yet a lot of people don’t know the history behind the greatness of Michael Jordan , A couple of weeks ago Michael was inducted into the hall of fame along with David Robinson, John Stockton, etc. and I read an article about the history of Jordan during the time of his high school days where in he was not accepted into the high school basketball team because the team already had so much guards already and the team desperately needs height so to sum it up Jordan didn’t make the cut but that didn’t stop Jordan from becoming the best player ever to play the game and used this situation to prove every one that he can be someone they didn’t think he was , in short he had faith in himself and he didn’t stop by just having faith what he did was he practiced, he worked out, he did everything what should be done to be the best player ,he made his dream come true by making steps to achieve it.

Jordan accepted the pressure to be the play maker when it comes to crunch time, everybody in the stadium watching him , phil jackson always had faith in Jordan to do the right thing just like our christian life God would only entrust as to be the play maker at crunch time if we would work and do everything to prove to Him that we are worthy to be entrusted .

God will not give us blessings that we are not even worthy of, we need to prove that we are able to handle these blessings and we will do the right thing and not screw up.

In summary first we need to have the faith because if we do not believe we can never achieve if we don’t believe in our capabilities and lastly we need to do something about our faith because our faith is not enough we need to work.
